At North Atlanta Family Dentistry, our purpose extends far beyond the four walls of our office. We are fueled by a commitment to uplift those in need through our 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, Together We Smile. We founded this organization to solve a common problem in the charitable world: administrative bloat. We envisioned a leaner, more impactful way to give. Under our unique operating model, 100% of every dollar donated goes straight to the field to fund supplies and aid, while our passionate volunteers handle all overhead costs.
Global Reach, Local Impact
We bridge the gap between resources and those living in extreme poverty by delivering life-saving medical aid and health education. While we have a profound connection to Colombia and South/Central America, our humanitarian team has extended its reach across the globe to Costa Rica, Honduras, Peru, and Fiji. We also remain deeply invested in our own backyard, partnering with vital community charities throughout Gwinnett, Forsyth, and Fulton counties.
Transforming Health Through Dental Relief
In many of the remote territories we serve, the absence of dental care is a life-threatening crisis rather than a simple discomfort. We frequently treat families who have traveled for days on foot to find relief from severe infections that, if left untreated, could lead to systemic illness.
- Life-Saving Interventions. We perform urgent surgeries and restorative procedures to eliminate pain and stop the spread of infection.
- Youth Outreach. Our student volunteers work directly with local children, teaching them the foundational hygiene habits necessary to prevent future health crises.

This includes the distribution of medical equipment, clothing, and educational supplies for local students, as well as providing mobility assistance through wheelchair donations for the elderly and those with physical disabilities. Our team delivers essential aid for nutrition and clean water to regions lacking basic infrastructure, ensuring that we aren't just treating patients, but uplifting the entire community's quality of life.
